Frequently asked questions
Do I need a credit card to start the free trial?
No. You can start the 7-day trial on the Team plan with just your email address. You will only be asked for payment details if you choose to continue after the trial.
What file types does Comad support?
During our launch period, all plans (including free Individual) support images (JPEG, PNG, WebP, GIF, SVG), video (MP4, MOV, AVI), audio (MP3, WAV, FLAC), and documents (PDF, DOCX, XLSX). Enterprise adds RAW camera formats and custom type configurations.
Can I switch plans at any time?
Yes. You can upgrade or downgrade from your account settings at any time. Upgrades take effect immediately; downgrades apply at the end of the current billing period.
What happens to my assets if I downgrade?
Your assets are retained. If you downgrade and exceed the plan limits, new uploads will be blocked until you are within the limits. No existing assets are deleted automatically.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe, and PayPal subscriptions. All prices are in Euro (€).
Can Comad be used alongside Clann?
Yes. Clann subscribers on the Family or Professional plan get bundled Comad access for attaching media to their family tree. A standalone Comad subscription gives you the full DAM experience independent of Clann.
